House Proud Avenue was started because we believed something was missing from the design world in North Atlanta — a studio that treated homeowners like intelligent adults, gave them real guidance, and created spaces that were genuinely beautiful without being impractical or impersonal.
We are Rachna and Deep. We are designers, but we are also a family. We understand what it means to want a home that looks good and actually works for the people living in it. Kids, routines, guests, mornings, quiet evenings — good design has to account for all of it.
Our approach starts with listening. Before we talk about furniture or finishes, we want to know how you live. What annoys you about your current space. What you reach for every morning. Where the family tends to gather. That information shapes everything that follows.
We work in a style we call warm modern transitional. It is grounded in clean lines and timeless silhouettes, layered with organic materials, warm tones, and textures that feel comfortable and collected. Think white oak, natural stone, linen, brushed brass, and warm whites. It is not trend-driven. It is designed to last — and to feel like it belongs to you.
Our Design Philosophy
Our design philosophy is rooted in natural materials, considered details, and spaces that reflect how you truly live. We approach every project with equal parts creativity and strategy. Before we design a space, we study how it needs to function. We consider movement, routines, storage needs, lighting, and how the home should feel at different times of the day.
We believe a home is not just a backdrop. It is the place your kids remember growing up. It is where you decompress after a hard day. It is where you host the people you love and where you start every morning.
We take that seriously. We design spaces that support your routines, reflect your values, and feel genuinely personal — not like they came out of a catalog. Beautiful and functional are not opposites. We hold both at the same time in every project we take on.
