PRIVACY POLICY & TERMS OF USE
The fine print, written in plain English. Here is how we look after your information and what to expect when you spend time on our site.

Inviting a designer into your home means trusting them with a lot. That trust starts here, long before we ever walk through your front door.

We never publish your street address, your family members' faces, or anything that identifies your home's location without your consent. If you would like a photo taken down, just ask and we will take care of it.
Photos you send us during an inquiry or project are used only to design your space. We do not post them.
6. Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files your browser saves when you visit a website. We use them to keep the site working, to see which pages people find useful, and to understand how well our marketing is reaching homeowners in our area.
Essential cookies keep the site secure and working properly.
Analytics cookies from tools such as Squarespace Analytics and Google Analytics show us traffic patterns in aggregate.
Advertising cookies from platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google may help us show our work to people who have visited our site and measure whether our ads are working.
You can manage cookies through the cookie banner on our site, block or delete them in your browser settings, adjust your ad preferences in your Meta and Google accounts, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Turning off some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
7. Emails and text messages
If you join our email list, we will send design ideas, studio news, and the occasional note about booking availability. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can leave the list anytime.
Once you are a client, we will send project emails that you cannot opt out of while the work is in progress, like scheduling updates, invoices, and delivery notices.
If you share your mobile number, we may text you about your inquiry or project. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts. We do not share your mobile number with anyone for their own marketing.
8. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as it is useful for following up, generally no longer than two years if we do not end up working together. For clients, we keep project records for as long as needed to support warranties, reorders, and future work in your home, and as long as tax and business record laws require.
9. How we protect it
We use reputable, secure platforms, limit access to the people who need it, and use password protection and two-factor sign-in on the accounts that hold client information. No website or system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take care of your information the way we would want ours looked after.
10. Your choices
You can ask us at any time to do any of the following.
Tell you what personal information we have about you.
Correct anything that is out of date or wrong.
Delete your information, unless we need to keep certain records for legal or business reasons.
Stop sending you marketing emails or texts.
Depending on where you live, your state's privacy laws may give you additional rights. We honor reasonable requests from anyone, wherever they live. Send your request to the email in section 14 and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first so we know we are speaking with the right person.
11. Children
Our site and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, please let us know and we will delete it.
12. Other websites
Our site links to places like Instagram, Pinterest, vendor websites, and articles we enjoy. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information. It is worth reading their policies before you share anything with them.

TERMS OF USE
Last updated October 21, 2026
A few ground rules for spending time on our site, so everyone knows where they stand.
1. Agreeing to these terms
These Terms of Use apply to houseproudavenue.com and any page that links to them. By using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What this site is for
Our website is here to introduce House Proud Avenue, share our work, offer helpful design ideas, and make it easy to reach us. Browsing the site, reading the blog, submitting an inquiry, or booking a discovery call does not make you a client or create a design relationship.
Our design services are provided under a separate written agreement that you sign before any work begins. If anything in that agreement differs from these terms, the signed agreement governs your project.
3. Our designs and content
Everything on this site, including our photography, design plans, renderings, mood boards, room descriptions, blog posts, guides, videos, the House Proud Avenue name, and our logo, belongs to House Proud Avenue or the people who licensed it to us. It is protected by United States copyright and trademark laws.
You are welcome to view, save, and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, republish, sell, or use our work in another business, on another designer's website or social account, or to market another product or service without our written permission.
You also may not scrape, download in bulk, or use our images or writing to train artificial intelligence tools or to generate look-alike content.
4. Sharing and pinning
We are flattered when our rooms end up on your inspiration board. Pinning our images, sharing a post, or linking to an article is fine, as long as the image is unedited and credits House Proud Avenue with a link back to our site or Instagram. Please do not remove watermarks or crop out credits. Press, blogs, and publications interested in featuring our work can reach out for high-resolution images and permission.
5. Portfolio projects
The homes in our portfolio belong to our clients and are shown with their permission. Please respect their privacy. Do not try to locate, visit, or contact the owners of any home you see on our site. Some projects include work from architects, builders, photographers, and other trade partners. Credit for their contributions remains with them.
6. What you send us
When you send photos, floor plans, or details through our forms, email, or messages, you keep ownership of them. You give us permission to use them to respond to you and to work on your project. Please only send material you own or have the right to share, and do not send anyone else's personal information without their permission. If you send us ideas, feedback, or suggestions about our services or website, we may use them freely without owing you anything.
7. Using the site respectfully
Please do not use the site to do any of the following.
Break any law or encourage someone else to.
Submit false information or pretend to be someone else.
Send spam, solicitations, or unsolicited sales pitches through our inquiry forms.
Upload viruses or anything designed to harm the site or other visitors.
Try to access parts of the site or our systems you are not meant to.
We may block access to anyone who does.
8. Design ideas, pricing, and products
Our blog posts, guides, and social content share general ideas. They are not advice for your specific home, and every space is different.
Pricing and investment ranges mentioned on our site, including any estimate tools, are for general guidance only. They are not quotes. Your actual design fee and project investment are set in a written proposal after we learn about your home.
Products, finishes, and furnishings we feature may change in price, color, or availability, and may be discontinued. Colors can look different on screens than in person.
Structural, electrical, plumbing, and safety work should always be handled by licensed professionals. Nothing on this site should be relied on as architectural, engineering, or building code guidance.
Booking availability we mention, such as limited openings or seasonal booking windows, reflects our schedule when posted and can change.
9. Links to other sites
We sometimes link to vendors, products, publications, and social platforms we think you will enjoy. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, or practices. If we ever earn a commission from a link, we will say so.
10. Disclaimers
We work hard to keep the site accurate and running well, but it is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that the site will always be available, error free, or free of harmful components, or that the content is complete or current.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, House Proud Avenue and its owners, team members, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, that come from your use of the site or your reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to one hundred dollars ($100). This section does not apply to services provided under a signed design agreement, which has its own terms.
12. Indemnification
If you misuse the site or break these terms and someone brings a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, damages, and legal fees that result.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute about the site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Forsyth County, Georgia, and you agree to that location. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time and will change the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
Questions about these terms? We would love to hear from you.
